She made her film debut in 1962 with Tears in the Lion's Mane. Her leading role in the film Monday Yuka, in which she co-starred with Akira Nakao and Yoko Yamamoto , is one of her most well-known works. She went on to appear in numerous films and dramas, and became a popular actress thanks to her devilish looks and excellent acting skills.
