He met Montxo Armendáriz, who hired him to play an illegal immigrant in Las cartas de Alou, with which he won the Silver Award for best actor at the 1990 Sant Sebastià International Film Festival. After appearing in some successful television series such as Farmacia de guardia and Los ladrones van a la oficina, in 1995 he participated in El techo del mundo and settled in Madrid. He has appeared in television series such as Policias, El comisario, Los Serrano and Hospital Central.
